Mr. Flu Bug

Tuesday, January 5, 2010

Last weekend, Cole had a First that I was dreading. Cole got the flu and ended up throwing up and having many dirty diapers. He was at my parents house with my Hubby and I and seemed fine. He opened up his Christmas gifts, played and loved cuddling with Auntie.

Auntie was headed upstairs to pack her clothes, but decided to show me her new wardrobe. As my sis was modeling her slimmer clothes, Cole cuddled up in the middle of her clothes. All of a sudden, Cole got sick and Auntie was watching in horror, as her Godson was getting sick and her clothes were getting soiled.

After we had Cole cleaned up, he was doing better. A hour later he decided to cuddle with Auntie. Unfortunately, my sister had bad luck that night. After a few minutes, Cole got sick on Auntie. It was bad. Poor Auntie!

It was so hard to see Cole sick. My Hubby and I had a hard time. Thankfully, my mom was able to help us. It is so hard to watch your kids suffer. Cole was having such a hard time. I also was sick, so everything is ten times worse when your not feeling better.

I did learn a lesson. I should always keep Pedialyte on hand. I did not have Pedialyte and nothing was opened. Thankfully, Jenna's brother and her sister-law had some and I was very grateful!

Cole is getting better. His tummy is better, but still is a little weak. I am so glad that he is smiling again!

One good thing about babies is that even though they get sick fast, they also get well fast...you will probably be sick a lot longer than he will..
hope you are all better soon!
