The Puj Tub

Monday, December 7, 2009

One of my Favorite things to do is trying new products out. Especially products that are directed towards children and made by other moms. Moms make life easier. Being a mom is exhausting enough, so I will take any help that I can get!!!

Recently I was accepted to be a Puj Tester. I was very excited because Puj was founded by Katie Richardson, a mom of three. She sent the Puj tub to me, so that I could try it out and give my opinion.

When I got the Puj tub, I was shocked. I saw a video of it and new what to expect, but the idea still shocked me. In a very flat box, there was my Puj tub. I couldn’t believe it. I opened
it up and saw a very flat piece of foam. In seconds, I had the Puj tub up and ready. Below is my How to Video:)

After the Puj tub was ready, I needed a volunteer. The recommended age is 0-6 months. Cole is over 7 months old, so he was disqualified. I called my friend and she let me borrow her almost 4 month old daughter McKayla. Mckayla is sporting a very cute swimsuit, so that she was well covered.

Here's Mckayla all ready for her bath. She was relaxed and ready to go.

Here's a side shot

McKayla did very well in the Puj tub. She was relaxed, and comfortable the whole time. I loved bathing her using the Puj tub because I didn't have to bend over. Bath time can be so hard on a mom's back! With the Puj tub your level to the sink, so you don't have to bend.

Here's other reasons why I am singing praises about the Puj tub:

It is great on saving space, all you have to do is hang it on your bathroom door.
No bulky tub to have to try to hang up, or find space for it.

I could set up the tub in a matter of seconds.
This tub is so great for quick, easy baths. Cole use to have blowouts all the time. It would take me minutes to get the tub out, get the water in. By the time I was done, Cole was a huge mess.

I only needed one arm to set it up.
If McKayla would have had a blowout, I could have kept her in my arms, set the tub up and not have to put her down. You never want to put a baby down that has messy pants!

I also liked the soft foam and how it wasn't very big.
Babies are use to being in a small space for 9 months, so when they get in a big tub it's scary.
I had a hard time with Cole. He use to be so scared of bath time.

I wish that I would have had the Puj tub when Cole was a baby. It would have been made bath time so much easier. It also would have been great for trips. It hardly takes up space, so packing it would have been so simple. My parents only have one bathroom, so bath time always has to be fast. The Puj tub sets up in a matter of seconds that it helps make the bath go quicker. I also can see why it would be great for blowouts. Cole had so many.

As you can see, I was very happy with the Puj tub. Even though Cole is too big, it won't stop me from picking it up as a shower gift for a expecting friend, or for some one's baby that is struggling with bath time. If the Hubby and I ever are blessed with baby #2, will be using the Puj Tub. I will need all the simplicity and extra space that I can get with two kids.

Check out the Puj Tub for yourself at the new web site exclusively for baby bath tubs!
P.s. Thank you McKayla for being so patient with me & McKayla's mom for letting me bathe your daughter.
