I am getting there! This week could have been disastrous. On Friday I went to the movies. I went right passed the buttery movie popcorn that kept calling my name. I was on the road on Saturday, and could have ate a lot of bad foods. I stayed strong and did not lose track of my goals. On Sunday I wanted a blizzard, instead I had a small vanilla ice cream cone at Mc Donald's. Much better better choice than a Butterfingers blizzard. During the week I filled up on fruit and veggies for snacks. I lost one pound.
For next week, I need to drink more water and eat less. My portions at meal time were out of control. I know that I need to work on portions. I also need to keep on exercising. Next week I want to lose more than a pound. I need to get this weight off.

I am not feeling very good. Every week, I seem to do step ahead with one thing and lose my footing in the other key to losing the weight. I know if I can have great weeks, the weight will come off. Yet, I struggle.
I really do not want to be this heavy. I want this icky fat off me. When I get stressed, I overeat. Since we have nothing terrible in the house, I have been overeating at meals. I use to do good at the meals. I am stressing over losing weight. I have to stop STRESSING!!!!
I also have to stop stressing about little things around the house. When I stress, I overeat! I need to breathe and relax! The next time Amber has this question, I am going to say good!!

You made GREAT choices this week! I read a post recently about mindful eating. I'm struggling with it but really I just need to think about what I'm eating and pay attention and not just mindlessly consume. Also...when I do have a treat...I need to mindfully eat it and enjoy it.

I'm really impressed about the movies...The smell of popcorn drives me crazy...thank goodness for netflix, my house doesn't smell as yummy as the movie theater.
Keep up the good work! And make your husband give you a massage to help you with all of that stress.

First of all, great job on passing up the popcorn. I have such a hard time staying away from it when I go to the movies. It sounds like you are making great choices and substituting something good for something that is bad for you.

Breathe. Relax. You're right, stressing can add on the pounds! Sounds to me like you're doing great and really trying hard, so don't sweat the small stuff. Filling up on veggies and fruit is great! Hope you have an AWESOME week!
